Pain Consultants Ltd provides specialist, consultant-led assessment and management for patients with acute, chronic, and complex pain conditions. We work closely with referring clinicians to deliver timely, evidence-based care, while maintaining clear communication and continuity throughout each patient’s treatment journey. Our aim is to support referrers by offering expert input where pain is persistent, diagnostically challenging, or no longer responding to standard management.
Our service is structured to provide rapid access to experienced consultant pain specialists, particularly for patients who require advanced diagnostic assessment, interventional pain procedures, or multidisciplinary management beyond conventional care pathways. We accept referrals for a wide range of conditions, including spinal pain, neuropathic pain, musculoskeletal disorders, chronic pelvic pain, cancer-related pain, and complex persistent pain syndromes.
Every patient is assessed by a consultant pain specialist to ensure accurate diagnosis, thorough review of relevant investigations, and development of a clear, individualised management plan. Where interventional treatment is appropriate, procedures are performed using advanced imaging guidance in a safe and controlled clinical environment, in line with current best practice and clinical standards.
We place strong emphasis on collaborative working and shared care. Comprehensive clinic letters, treatment summaries, and outcome reports are provided promptly to referrers, supporting informed ongoing management. Patients are returned to the referring clinician with clear follow-up plans and recommendations, ensuring continuity, transparency, and optimal clinical outcomes.
